The DoGooder Awards: A Contest That Celebrates Videos For A Cause

Calling all visionaries!

It’s time for the 2013 DoGooder Awards, a contest celebrating cause advocates who tell their stories with video.

In its seventh edition this year, the awards are open to nonprofits and individuals in the USA, Canada, Australia and the UK with a passion for a cause and a video that promotes it.

“We’re seeing more engaging, informative, and interactive videos that promote great causes,” said Jessica Mason, Manager at YouTube for Good. “This year’s DoGooder Awards reflect this evolution.”

Each winner will receive a $3,500 cash prize and free registration to the 2014 Nonprofit Technology Conference.

Interested parties should submit entries before March 22. Judges will select finalists and post the videos online, where voters will choose winners in a range of categories like “Funny for Good” and one specifically for nonprofits.

The awards are presented by See3 Communications, YouTube and the Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN) with sponsorship from NTEN and Cisco.
